Remote Sensing has shown effectiveness in its contribution to forest landscape management. Mapping and Inventory of forest plantations allows to determine the distribution of plant species, ecosystems.
To reduce the impact of human activities on natural ecosystems, there is need to know how much change has already occurred and how it has altered an ecosystem from its natural state. Through remote sensing parts of landscape which have been changed can be mapped and reliable documentation of changes in land cover at periodic intervals the change of natural vegetation or absence of it can be observed.
